Private Chronicles of Morris Cerullo #1: Seven Powerful Keys to Victory

Partner Ministry Letter

My Beloved Partner,

Even in the midst of of great uncertainty, God has an awesome destiny for you. Jesus said that before His coming there would be … upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity … (Luke 21:25). Regardless of the current conditions with the Coronavirus restrictions, the economic hardships people face from losing their jobs, businesses that face extreme financial hardship, and the churches that are now closed or extremely limited in their meetings:

  • You must not allow fear to gain a foothold!
  • God has a supernatural solution and you must use spiritual eyesight to find His solution.
  • God’s ways are not man’s ways! David said, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:9)
  • You must not try to face these perplexing times using human reasoning.
  • Don’t allow your current circumstances of become one of the devil’s distractions. But instead, continually focus your spiritual vision on Almighty God, Who is in control of your circumstances.

King Jehoshaphat and the children of Judah faced great perplexity when they were surrounded by an army of Moabites and Ammonites. While on the brink of being wiped out by their enemies, Jehoshaphat faced their dire circumstances. As you face your desperate circumstances, you may feel as if you don’t know how you will survive.Whatever you do, don’t give up!

Within this story are several powerful keys God has shown me that enabled them to experience total victory and will enable you to take the victories God has planned for you.

Key #1: God is Willing and Able to Deliver You!
The first thing that Jehoshaphat faced was the deadly grip of fear (II Chronicles 20:3). After seasons of prayer, God revealed to me that the spirit of fear is the major demonic spirit behind the global pandemic of the Coronavirus. It has a deadly grip on our economy and is behind the threat of a global financial crisis.

The only way for you to see with the eyes of the Spirit concerning the circumstances you now face is to put the Word over your eyes! Recognize the spirit of fear and cast it out in Jesus’ mighty name (God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind II Timothy 1:7).

King Jehoshaphat didn’t allow fear to gain a foothold. Instead, he prayed and called a nationwide fast.

Key #2: Recognize Jehovah as “Our God”
Jehoshaphat knew that he wasn’t praying to an idol or to a god that was far removed from him. He was a personal God and Father Who drove out their enemies before them. He recognized Jehovah as “Our God” and reminded Him of past deliverances (II Chronicles 20:7).

When you seek God’s solution in your desperate circumstances, remember that He is your God Who has been faithful to you. He has proven His faithfulness throughout the generations to His people and He will show Himself strong on your behalf.

Key #3: Receive God’s Promises for You

As Jehoshaphat went before God, he took with him God’s promises. In II Chronicles 20:9, he reminded God of His promise to deliver them in their time of calamity. Through spiritual eyesight, Jehoshaphat saw God fulfilling His promise and giving them victory over their enemies—even before going to battle.

As you seek God, remind Him of His promises. Take hold of them by faith and with spiritual eyesight see them being fulfilled. Put the Word of God over your eyes, as Satan will try to use your circumstances to accuse God and cause your faith to waver. Refuse to let go of God’s promises and focus your faith on God’s infallible, unassailable word.

Key #4: Our Fervent Prayer Availeth Much

Jehoshaphat wasn’t worried about his public image. He humbled himself before all Judah, admitted his fear, and called a national prayer meeting and then prayed in front of everyone. He acknowledged his weakness against the great armies of Ammonites and Midianites coming against them. However, he focused on nothing but God’s unlimited power.

To receive the answers you need, you must be willing to die to your natural understanding.

Key #5: Believe the Word of the Lord

As the people prayed, the Spirit of God came upon a prophet in the assembly—Jahaziel—who spoke the word of the Lord: This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s’ (II Chronicles 20:15, NIV).

When Jehoshaphat and the people heard this word from God, they fell down and worshipped. When you face desperate circumstances, take time to seek the Lord. Wait on Him to hear a Rhema Word! As they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets and you shall prosper (II Chronicles 20:20, NKJV).
This is a major key to your victory! When you receive a Rhema Word from God or the Word of the Lord spoken through God’s prophet, believe it, receive it, and act on it in faith.

Key #6: The Battle is Not Yours, but God’s

The battle for your family—your healing—your financial breakthrough—or whatever circumstance you face is God’s battle. He will fight for you just as He did for Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah. He is saying to you today, “The battle you face isn’t yours—it is Mine. I will fight for you!”

Receive the word of the Lord right now and release your faith. If you recognize the battle is the Lord’s, the work is done! Begin to worship and praise God knowing Jesus has already won your victory.

Key #7: Praise Releases the Breakthrough!

Victory came when Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah began to sing and praise God. They didn’t wait until the battle was won. They marched out to face the enemy singing the praises of God (II Chronicles 20:22).

Their faith was demonstrated by marching out onto the frontlines of battle unarmed—facing a powerful enemy with only the praises of God on their lips! Satan cannot stand the praises of God’s people. Fill your mouth with the praises of God.

As you take hold of these seven powerful keys and put them into practice, you will experience total victory in the battles you are facing. God has a supernatural solution to every problem you face!
